لم أذق طعم الرمان
كان والد عبدالله المبارك يعمل مزارع ،عند أحد الملاك ، فطلب منه صاحب المزرعه أن يحضر له رمانه مستويه ، فأتى له برمانه حامضه فقال له : هذه حامضه ، فطلب منه أن يحضر غيرها لعدة مرات وهو يحضر رمانه حامضة . فقال له صاحب البستان : ألآ تفرق بين الحلو والمالح ، قال : والله ياسيدي لم أذق رمان بستانك منذ عملت فيه ،فقال : كيف هذا وأنت تعمل معي منذ فترة طويله قال: لم تأذن لي أن آكل منه ، فعجب كثيرآ من ورعه وإيمانه ، فرغب أن يزوجه ابنته . وتم له ذلك فانجبت له ، عبدالله ابن المبارك الذي ملأ الدنيا علما . وأنا اكتب هذا الموضوع تذكرت واقعة كنتُ طرف فيها : كان بجواري سائق سيارة عندما شاهدنا سوياً سائق سيارة يتجاوز إشارة المرور الحمراء . فقلتُ له من باب المداعبة والفضول لماذا لم تلحق به ؟ لايوجد هنا رقابة مرورية ، قال لي لعلي أكثراستعجالاً منه ، فهذه زوجتي تتوجع بجواري في لحظة ولادة ! ولقدهممت بذلك ، ولكني تذكرت ماهو أعظم من رقابة المرورأنها رقابة الله ، ولا اريد ان اقدم معصية بين يدي ما ننتظره من رحمة الله تعالى ونحن نقول : هذا هو سلطان الدين ، والرقابة الذاتية التي جعلت المزارع يتحرج من أكل الرمان . و يمتنع الراعي أن يبيع شاة من الغنم ، ويدعي ان الذئب هو الذ ي اكلها ، ويمتنع صاحبنا من قطع الإشارة ، ليس خوفاً من رجل المرور، ولكنه سلطانا الدين . لوأننا طبقنا القيم الأخلاقية التي جاء بها القرآن الكريم لصلحت أحوالنا ولغمرتنا بركات من السماْء والأرض ، واستغنينا عن الكثير من القوانين التي لاتحد من سطوة التحايل على الأنظمة . ولعله من المناسب ان اذكر تجربة أقدمت عليها مصلحة السجون البريطانية . عندما أعيت ظاهرة الإجرام سلطات السجون في بريطانيا ، لجأت إلى رجال الدين المسلمين في لندن للمساعدة في التأثيرعلى السجناء عن طريق قيم الدين ، حيث فتحت لهم أبواب السجون . وأظهرت النتائج بعد ذلك مدى تأثير الدين في نفسيات السجناء ، إلا ان المفاجأة التي لم تسرهم ، ان الكثير من السجناء اعتنقوا الدين الإسلامي . والمفاجأه الأخرى ان من ضمن الذين اسلموا من مشاهيرلاعبين الكرة والفنانين .
