اجتمعنا لمدارسة هذه الفكرة ، عرضت عليهم : معارضتي للسفر فالعالم اليوم يعج بالفتن والمخاطر والقلاقل والتقلبات المناخية وما يصاحبها من فيضانات وأعاصير وأحيناً اختفاء الطائرات عن شاشات الردارات كما حصل مؤخراً ، والأمر الآخر، أني لا أرغب في أكل المطاعم في حالة امتناعي عن مرافقتهم : فاحتدم الصراع وحمي الوطيس ، فوجدتُ نفسي أعزل في هذه المواجهة وسقطت أمامي سلطة القوامة ، بل هم الذين أسقطوها .
وللخروج من هذه الأزمة ، أقترحوا عليّ النزول إلى خيارالأغلبية كما هو جاري في الديمقراطية الغربية وحقوق الإنسان والمنظمات الدولية ذات الصلة ، حينئذٍ أدركت تأثيرسطوة الغزو الفكري والعولمة في مفهوم الحرية الذي يدفعنا إليها إعلامهم ، والذي اجبرنا قصراً أن نجلس بجوارهم في قريتهم الكونية الصغيره التي فجرتها الثورة العلمية .
وتأملت في نفسي بعد هذه الهزيمة ، بفوزهم بالتصويت . فقلت لنفسي : لا تقولي أين سطوة الرجل العربي الذي لايُقهر ولا يساوم ، وأين الكلمة التي لا تنزل إلى الأرض ، أين السلطة المطلقة أيام زمان ؟ وأين نحن من قول الشاعر الغربي :
