في حفلة كبيرة أقيمت على شرف الوفد الذي تشرفت أن أكون من أعضائه وذلك في أجمل مواقع الطبيعة جمالاً وسحراً في احد المدن الأوربية .
وكان قد سبق هذا اللقاء حضور مندوب العلاقات العآمة للجهه المحتفية بنا : طلب منا أن نقدم له قائمة بالأطعمة التي نرغبها ، قلنا له : ليس لدينا أي تحفظ من أكل طعامكم إذا خلى من لحم الخنزير ومشتقاته .
وذكر لنا أن من ضمن المشاركين معنا في تناول العشاء في هذه الأمسية لفيف من كبار موظفي الشركة ، ورؤساء الأقسام والمدراء التنفيذيين .
وأخبرنا أن وقائع المناسبة ، سوف تنقل فيما بعد على شاشة المحطة الفضائة المشهورة لديهم ، قلنا له : يسرنا ان تنقل تقديرنا ، وبالغ سرورنا ، للمدير العآم للشركة وكبار معاونيه على هذه الحفاوة والتكريم .
ثم قال : نود منكم ان تذكروا لنا قائمة بأنواع المشروبات الكحولية التي تفضلونها ، وسوف نقوم بتأمين رغبات كل فرد منكم بدون تحفظ .
قلنا أنتم تعلمون : أن ديننا يحرم علينا شرب الخمور ، وسوف يسعدنا كثيراً في عدم رؤية الخمور تُقدم على مائدة الطعام بحضورنا ، ونكتفي بشرب ما لديكم من المرطبات .
وبإمكانكم استكمال سهرتكم والاستمتاع بشرب الخمور بعد مغادرتنا ، ولن يطول بنا المقام على المائدة لأن لدينا مهمة رسمية في وقت مبكر غداً .
إلا أن قرار ريئس الفريق لم يعجب بعض الأعضاء لدينا وأبدوا بعض التحفظ من هذا التشدد وكانوا يرون انه من اللياقة مسايرة القوم ومشاركتهم في تناول شراب الكحول من باب البروتوكول .
ولما كان مثل هذه المواقف واردة الوقوع ، لكثرة الأختلاط مع الجانب الآخرخصوصاً بين رجال الأعمال والدارسين لديهم ، لذا نرى أنه ينبغي تجلية هذا الأمر ليكون الجميع على بينة .
وارغب تفضلاً من أراد من حضرات القراء المشاركة في إبداء الرأي على موقف رئيس الفريق ، وهل من اللياقة فعلاً ، مسايرة القوم في شرب الخمور، وأكل لحم الخنزير ، لكي لا نوصف بالانغلاق والتشدد والرجعية ، وأن نكون أكثر تحضراً في عيون الآخرين ، ولربما يذهبون أبعد من ذلك ، بأن نُوصف بالأصولية ومعاداة الحضارة الغربي ، والوصف بالإرهاب أمر وارد ، وأما إذا وجد بعض اليهود فنحن معادون للسامية ؟ .
