وشبهم بالجراد المنتشر : لأن أماكن قبورهم متفرقة في جميع الأنحاء .( يقول الكافرون هذا يوم عسر) .
وأما المؤمنون فحالهم خلاف ذلك فهم آمنون من الفزع الأكبر ، كما جاء في بعض الآيات الأخرى ، وهذه الجموع الهائلة المتجهة إلى جهة واحدة بدون تلكأ وبسرعة يدل على الرعب والخوف ، من سماع الصيحة .
